    Topic: Net Zero Buildings

    Summary: Sheila will explore the concept of zero-energy buildings, provide guidance on designing, constructing, and operating zero-energy buildings, and expand the zero-energy building concept to zero-energy campuses and districts by drawing on experiences from actual zero-energy projects and illustrating successes through brief case study examples.

    Speaker: Sheila Hayter, ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer and Fellow, is the Strategy and Implementation Group Manager within the Integrated Applications Center of the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Sheila is currently the ASHRAE Treasurer and slated to become the ASHRAE President Elect in July 2017 and the ASHRAE President in July 2018.
