    FEG for Energy Efficiency and Code Compliance

    Presented by: Rad Ganesh

     

    Topic:

    Fan Efficiency Grades (FEG) as determined by Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) International and their relationship to energy efficiency of fans for compliance with energy codes such as IECC and standards such as ASHRAE 90.1.

     

    Presenter Bio:

    Rad Ganesh, PhD, PE, Director of Engineering Applications, Twin City Fan Companies

    Dr. Ganesh has over 26 years of experience in the HVAC and Fan industries. His current responsibilities include fan systems regulatory compliance, applications engineering, product development and customer testing. Prior to Twin City Fans he spent 11 years in product development at the Trane Company. He has 3 patents to his credit and has made several presentations at ASHRAE, AMCA, and in company traning seminars. He has served on several AMCA and ASHRAE committees. Dr. Ganesh received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1987. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.
