    Design of Kitchen Ventilation Systems

    Note: This presentation has been registered for 1.0 GBCI credits

    Presentation: Benefits of using listed grease duct in order to minimize system effect as well as proper design of kitchen ventilation systems as a system rather than just parts and pieces. Topics may include the benefit of designing / specifying duct layout to ensure complete system design, and duct design to minmize elbows, reduce grease accumulation, reduce fire hazard, and decrease static pressure (minimize system effect).

    Presenter: Molly Rice is a native of Colorado and has been with Captive-Aire Systems for 9 years. She graduated from Adams State College with degrees in Biology and Chemistry and entered the world of kitchen ventilation after working for several years as an Analytical Chemist in Raleigh, North Carolina. While at Captive-Aire, Molly has worked at the corporate level as an Applications Engineer, Director of Operations and Vice President of Sales for North America and currently serves as the Regional Sales Manager for Colorado and Southern Wyoming. Her current position allows her to live in the state she loves and for her children, 2 years and 5 years, to be near family.
